Hi!
My name is Francesca and for as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with cake…I’m sure this comes as no surprise because let’s be real - who isn’t obsessed with cake?
However, my love for cake delves deeper than simply loving the rich and decadent sponge of a chocolate fudge cake, or the sweet taste of vanilla buttercream, or the smell that fills the air as a freshly baked cake is removed from the oven.
My adoration for cake is about giving people a little slice of happiness with every bite. The excitement on friends and family members faces when you surprise them with a cake for their birthday, or if they’re going through a rough patch and the only thing that’ll cheer them up is a batch of warm, gooey dark chocolate brownies (we’ve all been there) – being able to provide that sort of joy to someone through doing something I’m already so passionate about with added love and care is definitely what it’s about for me.
So, in 2017 at the age of 20, I made the decision to spread that joy a little further than just my friends and family by starting my own business called Francesca’s Cake Company and I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I’m having so much fun creating and designing custom cakes for my lovely customers, experimenting with new recipes and flavours and lastly, hearing all the wonderful feedback from all of you.
I am very much looking forward to what the future holds for Francesca’s Cake Company.
