Hi!
My name is Francesca and for as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with cake…I’m sure this comes as no surprise because let’s be real - who isn’t obsessed with cake?
However, my love for cake delves deeper than simply loving the rich and decadent sponge of a chocolate fudge cake, or the sweet taste of vanilla buttercream, or the smell that fills the air as a freshly baked cake is removed from the oven.
My adoration for cake is about giving people a little slice of happiness with every bite. The excitement on friends and family members faces when you surprise them with a cake for their birthday, or if they’re going through a rough patch and the only thing that’ll cheer them up is a batch of warm, gooey dark chocolate brownies (we’ve all been there) – being able to provide that sort of joy to someone through doing something I’m already so passionate about with added love and care is definitely what it’s about for me.
So, in 2017 at the age of 20, I made the decision to spread that joy a little further than just my friends and family by starting my own business called Francesca’s Cake Company and I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I’m having so much fun creating and designing custom cakes for my lovely customers, experimenting with new recipes and flavours and lastly, hearing all the wonderful feedback from all of you.
I am very much looking forward to what the future holds for Francesca’s Cake Company.

Order a cake
To order a cake, please use the form below to submit an enquiry. Please allow approx 48 hours for a response via email.
**MINIMUM TWO WEEKS NOTICE REQUIRED** There may be times where I can accommodate at shorter notice, please email me directly if it is an urgent request.
T&C’S
If you are collecting your cake - please make sure you hold the cake flat at all times and from the bottom of the box, avoiding pushing the sides of the cake box inwards. When transporting please have the A/C on inside your car or the windows open (this is ESSENTIAL on very warm days) and again, keep on a flat surface (the footwell or boot of your car)
Ensure that you drive very carefully at all times, especially around bends and over speed bumps
For buttercream cakes, keep them in the fridge until approx 30 minutes before you come to serve it and keep out of direct sunlight at all times. Please ensure you have adequate space in your fridge beforehand
For fondant cakes, leave in a cool, dark room away from direct sunlight
Once the cake has left my hands I am not responsible for any damages, so please look after it! No refunds can be issued for damage that wasn’t my fault
Some cakes may contain non-edible decorations and will be noted on your allergen cards which items these are - you are responsible for removing these items before serving the cake. Some examples are: Ribbon, dried blooms, fondant figurines/plastic toy figurines, cake toppers and flowers.
Francesca’s Cake Company is not an allergy free kitchen. Whilst every step is taken to prevent cross contamination, it cannot be guaranteed. Please notify us of any food allergies or intolerances you or any guests have
Food safety
Francesca’s Cake Company is thrilled to say that since registering in 2017, we have consistently achieved the highest rating of 5 stars from the Food Standards Agency. A fully registered business with public liability insurance and a Level 2 Food Safety certificate which is renewed every 3 years with refresher training and an exam
BOOKING IN
A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure every order which must be paid via bank transfer. I am unable to reserve spaces on any particular day without a deposit. By paying this deposit you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The remaining balance is to be paid via bank transfer no less than 7 calendar days prior to collection or delivery. I cannot accept cash on the day of collection or delivery.
Feel free to send reference pictures regarding designs, but please note I don’t copy other bakers work directly. Heavily fondant detailed or novelty cakes are not something I specialise in so please look through my feed to get an idea of the sort of cakes I create before enquiring.
